A Gold from The Societies of Photographers for my first submission.
What makes me most happy is that it's not a studio shot.
Whilst I love to spend time in the Hayloft creating more fine art feeling images, outside photographing dogs is where I am happiest. A perfect session is a little bit of both !!
This shot is a mix of natural and flash light. Getting the balance right isn't always easy and having a patient model is always a help (an extra pair of hands wouldn't have gone amiss either).
